Fire the Government

I don't care which side you are on, everyone should agree on 1 thing. The government isn't doing ANYTHING to help the American public. We work hard, pay our taxes and only bitch when we really feel we've been wronged. Well, we've been wronged big time. Our hard earned tax dollars have been going to special interest projects far too long. Most of the Senators and House Representatives have "friends" they have to support to keep their votes. This is absolutely rediculous. Instead of them doing what is right for us, they are simply making sure they've added "pork" to every bill making our tax dollars worth even less. This bailout is a prime example. How much of the money spent, or requested for spending, is actually going towards the cause of "repairing" our economy? Apparently, not too much of it. If I have to guess, I would say for every $1 toward repairing the economy, there is probably another $1 toward some special interest project. We, as American Citizens, need to take a stand and not re-elect ANYONE. These representatives need to have term limits imposed so we can erradicate the "pork belly bills".
